Has anyone faced issues with their ps5 controller buttons sticking? very annoying gameplay. i have already updated both console and controller firmware. help...

It could be due to dust or dirt buildup. Try gently cleaning around the buttons with a soft, dry brush.

If cleaning doesn't work, check if the button springs are damaged. Sometimes they need replacing.

I had this issue and found out it was a manufacturing defect. You might want to contact Sony for a replacement if it's still under warranty.

Sometimes, repeatedly pressing the button can loosen it up. But be gentle to avoid further damage.

Avoid eating or drinking around your controller. Sticky residue from snacks is often the culprit!
